Mom Job Description - A Look At All You Do Each Day
|
As a mom, you have a
great deal of responsibility; the care of your husband and kids, and
the maintenance of your home as well. You may find along the way,
however, that you have the capability to fix just about anything.
Whatever the situation, you do have mom skills you may not know you
have and which are not part of your mom job description.
Everyday things you do as a mom help you in other areas of your
life. This is due to the fact that you are using common sense as the
first approach to anything, which can usually solve most problems.
Whether you know it or not, this common sense approach to life has
always been there. Your mom job description has always been part of
your resume.
Remember too, you probably worked or had experience in other skills;
or perhaps you took college courses in sociology or psychology.
Perhaps you were an office worker. The skills you had as a single
woman became the foundation for your skills as a mom. Therefore,
your mom job description had already been laid out. Consequently,
what you learn as a mom, directly relates to what you learned long
ago and can be translated into other areas of your life.
Along with your mom job description, approaching tasks with a
certain calm and confidence and using a specific method to, for
example, run the household; no doubt gives you the impetus and
methodology to pursue a work-at-home business. Perhaps you are
keenly aware of how to save on grocery shopping, or other items for
your home. Utilizing this knowledge and incorporating it into a home
business can be your forte. Just because you are a mom, does not
mean other areas of your life are put on hold. To the contrary, you
are fully engaging in other areas of your life that make you a
better person; and a better mom. Thus, the two are not mutually
exclusive.
You wear many hats as a mom, and these titles have been embedded in
your mom job description. As such, you are perfectly capable of
multi-tasking with ease. Those qualities can be used in other areas
of your life as well. These qualities are your biggest asset in
determining a second career after your kids are grown and able to
take care of themselves. Remember the old saying, "If you want
something done, ask a busy woman!"
