I picked up the book expecting to like it but not be too impressed. I’ve read SO many parenting books and many are just … ‘eh. Not this one. In fact, after a quick first read I’ve decided I’m going through it again with highlighter in hand. Keep in mind I don’t have young kids at home anymore but I really like some of the things this book has to say. Here’s another thing … I’d suggest someone buy this book JUST to look at the little side notes. Do you know what I mean? The little highlighted text from the book that the publisher puts in the margins? Ok. Ouch. Think about it.               And this: <\/p>\n

So yeah… you don’t hear that too often from a modern day parent.
