TEMPLETON’S – TIMELESS INFANT SILVER ANNOUNCES CONTEST WINNER FOR RE-NAMING SIGNATURE PRODUCT<\/p>\n

CHARLESTON, S.C., SEPTEMBER 28, 2009\u2014The owners of Templeton\u2019s – Timeless Infant Silver have proudly announced they\u2019ve given up the binky.
\nWhen corporate giant Playtex issued a cease and desist warning to sisters Neyle and Rhett Templeton for using the term \u201cbinky\u201d in the name of their signature piece\u2014a sterling silver pacifier holder that adapts to a mother\u2019s bracelet\u2014the sisters quickly organized a national contest to rename the product.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Jee Youn Fickling of Charleston, whose name entry was selected from among several hundred entries received after the contest formally began on Aug. 7, Templeton\u2019s has a new, more sophisticated name for what was formally called the Heirloom Binky Bracelet: the Heirloom Bijou Bracelet.
\nFickling, who has a degree in French, suggested using the word \u201cBijou\u201d because it is French for jewelry, \u201can item to be adorned,\u201d explained Rhett Templeton. \u201cWe think it\u2019s perfect, and beautiful too, just like the bracelet,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

As the Grand Prize Winner, Fickling will receive a large basket stuffed with \u201cInfant to Mommy\u201d Products donated by clients of the PR and Marketing Company Baby Swags, which places \u201cmompreneur\u201d creations in swag bags for celebrities. The basket had been on display in Charleston children\u2019s boutique Jackson Madeleine – Classics for Children, where the formal contest winner announcement was just filmed.<\/p>\n

“This contest could not have been possible without all of the support from the mompreneurs who donated to our gift basket and helped promote our contest,” Templeton said. \u201cI’m still so baffled by all of the support that we have received, and the bonds that we have created with all of these women.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Templetons not only received basket donations from the U.S., but from Australia and Canada as well.<\/p>\n
