I&#8217;d been perusing the site <a href=\"http:\/\/rubyreadsbooks.com\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"rubyreadsbooks.com\">RubyReadsBooks.com<\/a> and this particular book keeps popping up but in all my years of homeschooling, I had never heard of it!  That&#8217;s too bad because it really is a great book. It&#8217;s beautifully written with a great lesson that kids (and adults) can learn without even saying a word. I love books that do that.  You read them to the kids and just let it sit there&#8230; if they want to talk about it, of course, you do talk about it, but this is not a time for analyzing or pulling out lessons, or saying, &#8220;see this is why I want you to be nice to Serena down the street&#8221;.  You let the kids just mull over it &#8230; and act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then you read it again. And again. Good books are that way.  That&#8217;s why this one&#8217;s been around, never out of print, since the 1950s.  It&#8217;s just as relevant today as it was then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I also love the idea of these read-aloud posters.
