Fall means soup – here’s another great soup recipe that the kids will enjoy!<\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n1 \u00bc cups of water
\n3 cups carrots, peeled and sliced
\n2 cloves garlic, crushed
\ngrated zest of 1 orange
\njuice of 1 lemon
\n1 \u00bc cups orange juice
\nFor thinning: 1 \u00bc cups of water or milk<\/p>\n

Instructions:
\nIn a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add garlic, orange zest, orange juice and carrots and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the carrots are tender. Then add the lemon juice and turn off the heat. When the mixture has cooled off a bit, blend until mixture is creamy. Reheat, but don\u2019t bring to a boil, and mix in another 1 \u00bc of either water or milk. <\/p>\n

Your kids will love the color of this fruity soup. Serve with nice crusty bread. <\/p>\n
