I’m not a pastor. I’m not a pastor’s wife. But I’m really glad I got a chance to review Dr. Joel Beeke’s book Reformed Preaching. And while I’m a housewife and will never need to write/preach a sermon, this book was well worth my time.

I’ve heard many of Dr. Beeke’s sermons and noticed over the years his heartfelt passion to really speak to the heart of his congregation and others who hear the message. He practices what he’s laying down in this book.

It’s a lengthy book and would make a great gift for your pastor or a young man who might be considering heading to seminary – or as a graduation for one who already has.
