This thing is adorable!
Kind of a goofy but totally adorable idea for your little one, aged 6-12 months. It looks and feels kind of like an indoor sled. I can’t wait for my 6 month old granddaughter to give it a try on Thanksgiving. She’s not crawling yet but she can kind of scooch around on her tummy so this will be perfect for her!
Made in America (really close to me in Volo, Illinois, this sturdy little guy is really well made. While it does have wheels, the design is such that little fingers can’t get caught underneath even though it’s rolling on the floor. Obviously the best type of floor is a hardwood or some type of laminate, but I’ll give it a try on carpet too next week and let you know.
I really love how they actually made it in the shape of an alligator! Too cute (I got a green one!) and just found a way for little ones to move while still learning to crawl. Studies have shown that the step of crawling (both the action and the fact that the kids are face down looking ahead) is a very important part of brain development in children, so this extra bump in that will be great!
