My sister an I are planning our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. It’s been a lot of fun but pretty nerve wracking. I’m proud that my folks have been married so long and are still madly in love with each other so I do think all the work and money is definitely worth it to honor them.
We were trying to find a nice centerpiece idea for the tables – the place where we’re having the event is at a country club and they have something basic but I wanted something out of the ordinary.
I stumbled on THIS SITE and thought we could do her Enclosed Hurricanes with handpainted windmills on them and a bible verse. SO pretty – she does all kinds of designs and words on them – what a great gift.
I just wanted to pass along the idea – I can see all kinds of uses for her products for baby and wedding showers and receptions as well as gift giving – something unique and usable is always good.
Enjoy looking around her site! Click here to visit.
Oh those hurricane lanterns are so lovely. It can be difficult coming up with an interesting and still lovely center piece.
What a joy to have a sister to plan this with – you can have so much fun coming up with ways to celebrate your parents’ love. Congratuatlions to them and enjoy all the party planning!
