Although my kids are teens now, I have many many friends who still have young children, babies, toddlers and preschoolers and they are always looking for great ideas for fun things to do and activities that are focused on learning as well as fun. So I keep my eyes open as I look around the internet for good tools, books, etc., for this blog and pass the info on to them as well.
Today I found a lovely ebook that I think you’ll enjoy. It’s called ABC FUN & 123
and based on what I’ve seen so far it’s a great investment if you’ve got preschoolers or toddlers running about and are trying to decide if you’re going to put them in your local preschool or not.
It’s chock full of relaxed worksheets, activities, stories – all with a relaxed structure that makes it fun but educational too. It’s geared toward ages 3-6 but it looks like with a little adapting, kids younger than three would love what you can do with this book as well.
This book can be used as a preschool Alphabet and Numbers homeschool curriculum or it would make a great book for summertime learning to help your little ones get ready for preschool this fall.
Take a look around the website when you CLICK HERE and see what you think. I’m impressed!
And if you’re looking for some other ABC fun, make sure you click on the little “Parenting Toolbox” link above. The toolbox includes the fabulous Kids Activity Calendar – 26 “weeks” (at your own pace) of great stuff for you as well.
